Welcome to Olive Cottage, a serene retreat, near the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve. This cosy hideaway offers breathtaking ocean views, merging your bedroom and lounge, with stunning folder stacker doors, that fold right open, so nature and the aroma of the sea air can flow in.
At Olive Cottage you even have sea views from every corner, even the shower, which is a stunning hardwood, and piping hot water.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a hearty meal, or eat out at one of our local restaurants, a short walk away,
The cottage also has a stunning hardwood deck, shaded with lattice, where you can enjoy your morning breakfast, with breathtaking sea views. The deck has a built-in braai where you can cook on the coals while enjoying a good glass of wine, or craft beer, and watching a breathtaking sunset, plus you get to enjoy the night skies, even catch a falling star, and take on the ocean’s soothing sounds.
The cottage is all built with boutique wooden carpentry, with the feel of a Canadian log cabin, and breathtaking, endless sea views. The Olive Cottage is private, and surrounded by a small olive grove.
Fall asleep at night, in a super comfy bed, we only use organic cotton linen, and an extra mohair blanket to keep you snug. The sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep.
Olive Cottage is perfect for couples, that special occasion, anniversary, or just a weekend for some quality couple time, or surprise your loved one, with a few days away to share quality time. If you are single and need a few days to set sail and just breath and relax then Olive Cottage is your destination.
The cottage is within walking distance to the beach, for an early morning stroll, or breathtaking mountain hikes on our doorstep. We are a few minutes walk to the local early morning coffee shops, to pick up a coffee of your choice and freshly baked pastry, hot out the oven.
There is safe off-street parking, with camera surveillance, so your car is safe. If you arrive before 3 pm, we gladly carry your luggage to your cottage, we love spoiling our guests.
